Gorgeous vintage sterling silver ring by jewelry designer Jay King of Desert Rose Trading. The ring features a large oval greenish blue turquoise cabochon with a dark spiderweb matrix. The stone is not a composite, as many of the newer pieces from this designer are, but is a natural stone that has been stabilized and the colors and contrast are drool worthy! The stone is in a smooth bezel and set atop a wide band that tapers at the bottom and has a unique open cut design.
Condition: Some light surface wear on the silver, very little patina. Personal preferences vary greatly for the amount of patina on vintage jewelry, therefore I tend to sell jewelry "as found" and leave polishing up to the new owner.
Size: The band size is 7.75 and is just over 3/4" wide at the top. Weighs 8.5g
Hallmark: DTR (Desert Rose Trading mark) CHINA 925
Era: 1990's
