Large vintage red coral and bone pendant from Tibet. The center piece bone has a sweet scrimshaw design resembling a prehistoric petroglyph drawing surrounded by an ornate silver plated brass frame and topped with a bail featuring a small red coral cabochon.
Condition: Plate loss on the brass and other minor signs of age. Personal preferences vary greatly for the amount of patina on vintage jewelry, therefore I tend to sell jewelry "as found" and leave polishing up to the new owner.
Size: 3 1/4" long including the bail, 2 1/4" wide, and a 3/8" diameter bail opening.
Hallmark: none
Era: 1970's
