This gorgeous solid sterling silver belt buckle is an unsigned example of Santo Domingo Pueblo artisan David F Garcia's work. The buckle is gently domed and has a turquoise stone decorated with unique floral-like applique and deep stamping. The entire piece is made of sterling silver, with the exception of the buckle fittings.
Condition: Some signs of use including surface scratches and a hairline crack in the stone. The stone is not loose and does not seem to be in any danger of falling out or cracking any more. There is quite a bit of beautiful, natural patina to this piece. Personal preferences vary greatly for the amount of patina on vintage jewelry, therefore I tend to sell jewelry "as found" and leave polishing up to the new owner.
Size: It measures 3" long, 2" wide and fits up to a 1 & 3/8" belt. Weight is 52.4g.
