Amazing Fred Harvey Era sterling silver thunderbird cuff with turquoise cabochon. Has some fabulous stamped design work with arrows and whirling logs, which indicates that the bracelet was made pre-WWII. This symbol stopped being used during the second world war due to the Nazi connotation and hatred that it stood for. Excellent piece of Native American history!
Condition: Nice, natural patina and almost no surface wear. Personal preferences vary greatly for the amount of patina on vintage jewelry, therefore I tend to sell jewelry "as found" and leave polishing up to the new owner.
Size: The inner measurement is 5 1/2" plus a 1" gap, for a total inner circumference of 6 1/2". Bands are thin enough that it could be adjusted a bit if needed. 7/8" wide at the top and weighs 24.5g.
Hallmark: none, tests as sterling silver
