Amazing vintage sterling silver turquoise ring with large feather applique. This is an overall wildly sturdy early handmade Navajo ring. The age of this piece falls into the Fred Harvey Era, but is a one of kind handmade piece, as opposed to the more common Trading Post rings.
The ring has a lot weight at 12 grams and all the sterling parts are very thick. The turquoise is a gorgeously aged green with blue around the edges and nice matrix. The heavy duty band attaches to the setting with a split shank.
Condition: Very good condition with some light wear and natural patina. Personal preferences vary greatly for the amount of patina on vintage jewelry, therefore I tend to sell jewelry "as found" and leave polishing up to the new owner.
Size: The band is size 6 and the setting is 7/8" x 11/16"
Hallmark: None, tests as sterling silver.
