Amazing large sterling silver and turquoise Navajo made ring. The elongated oval turquoise cab is a greenish blue with matrix of black and brown and is set in a smooth bezel. The stone is framed with a thin shadowbox and nice file work. The band fantastically compliments the gorgeous stone with it's seven way split shank!
*For those familiar with Native American jewelry marks and how rare it is for a piece to me stamped with .925, I have confirmed that this piece is authentic Navajo and was likely intended for export to be sold in Europe which requires the USA .925 markings on imported items.
Condition: Very good condition with some light surface wear natural patina. Personal preferences vary greatly for the amount of patina on vintage jewelry, therefore I tend to sell jewelry "as found" and leave polishing up to the new owner.
Size: The band size is 8.5, the band is 5/16" wide at the bottom and 1 1/8" wide at the top of the shank. The setting is just over 1 7/8" long and 5/8" wide.
Hallmark: USA .925
