Vintage Navajo made squash blossom necklace with robins egg blue turquoise cabochons. Has sterling silver bench made beads, 8 total squash blossoms with small oval turquoise stones and a single leaf applique, and a naja at the bottom which has a dangle in the center and a total of 4 turquoise cabs. All the components are strung on sterling silver link chain.
This necklace is smaller than a typical squash blossom and was probably originally made for a child. It fits a smaller framed woman at at size that is perfect for every day wear, without the bulk and weight of a standard sized necklace.
Condition: Very good vintage condition with little patina or signs of wear.
***All jewelry is lightly cleaned and earrings are disinfected. Personal preferences vary greatly for the amount of patina on vintage jewelry, therefore I only lightly polish with a sunshine cloth as needed.
Size: The necklace length is 16" (for reference, the model's neck measures 14" around the base). Weighs a total of 60g.
Hallmark: There are no makers mark, which is typical of Navajo jewelry of this time period. All components test as sterling silver.
