Vintage sterling silver and turquoise ring by Navajo silversmith William G Johnson. The ring has a large green colored turquoise stone with lots of light brown matrix which is set in a smooth bezel, surrounded by a thin shadowbox opening, and a thick filework frame. Has a mid-weight band and a tri-split shank.
Condition: There are scratches and grooves around the edge of the bezel which makes me think the stone may have been replaced. Otherwise the ring is in very good condition. Priced with flaws taken into consideration.
***All jewelry is lightly cleaned and earrings are disinfected. Personal preferences vary greatly for the amount of patina on vintage jewelry, therefore I only lightly polish with a sunshine cloth as needed.
Size: The band size is 10 and the setting measures 1 1/8" long and 5/8" wide.
Marks: W G Johnson, STERLING
