Gorgeous example of an early Navajo pair of earrings. These earrings are made of a thick sterling silver with a single cabochon of turquoise that is beautifully aged to a dark green-blue with a dark matrix.
This pair has what are probably the original screw back fasteners, but I can swap them out for sterling silver hooks if you select that option. The replacement hooks are made by an artist out of California and have a patina'd finish.
Condition: Very good condition with lots of natural patina. Personal preferences vary greatly for the amount of patina on vintage jewelry, therefore I tend to sell jewelry "as found" and leave polishing up to the new owner.
Size: 1 5/8" long and 1/2" wide.
Hallmark: none, test as sterling silver
Era: 1930's
