Fantastic southwestern sterling silver ring with a black onyx. The elongated oval cabochon is set in a sawtooth bezel, and is surrounded by classic Navajo design details. Raindrops across the top, leaf appliques to the lower right, and the left stamped edge. Has a mid-weight band with split shank. The ring is marked with .925, which is not typical of Native American made pieces unless they were intended for export.
Condition: Very good with light surface wear and natural patina. Personal preferences vary greatly for the amount of patina on vintage jewelry, therefore I tend to sell jewelry "as found" and leave polishing up to the new owner.
Size: The band size is 5. Setting is 1 1/8" long and 5/8" wide. Weighs 6g
Hallmark: .925
Era: 1980's/90's
