Vintage sterling silver ring with a large faceted lab created ruby in a modernist setting. The ring was made in the USSR (now Russia) in the 80's. The stone tests in the ruby range on a presidium gem tester, but is likely lab created and not a natural stone.
Condition: Very good condition with no issues to note. Personal preferences vary greatly for the amount of patina on vintage jewelry, therefore I tend to sell jewelry "as found" and leave polishing up to the new owner.
Size: The band size is 6.5 and the setting is just under 3/4" long.
Hallmark: Many marks that are hard to make out, has the hammer & sickle inside a star with 916. Tests as sterling silver.
