Amazing mid-century sterling silver Zuni inlay Rainbow man pin. The large kachina doll brooch features stones of turquoise, jet, reddish orange spiny oyster shell, and mother of pearl. The pin in not signed, which was common for Native jewelry made prior to the 1980's, and the exact artist is unknown.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. Moderate natural patina with most accumulation in the crevasses. Inlay is in great condition with no loose stones, no chips and no flaws to the silverwork.
***All jewelry is lightly cleaned and earrings are disinfected. Personal preferences vary greatly for the amount of patina on vintage jewelry, therefore I only lightly polish with a sunshine cloth as needed.
Size: The Rainbow man measures just over 3" long and 1 1/2" wide at the arms.
Marks: none, tests as sterling silver
